From 22 to 29 April, the global community comes together to mark World PI Week – an annual international campaign dedicated to raising awareness of Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs). This initiative unites patient organizations, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the wider public in a shared call to action: work together to improve recognition, diagnosis, and care for people living with these conditions.

ESID 2026 Behind the Scenes: Site Visit and Board Meeting in Maastricht
In February the ESID 2026 Local Organising Committee and the ESID Board gathered in Maastricht, the Netherlands for an important milestone on the road to the 22nd Biennial ESID Meeting. The visit to Maastricht Exhibition & Conference Centre (MECC Maastricht) which will be the host venue of the Meeting, offered an opportunity to review preparations on site, align strategic priorities, and fine-tune the details that will shape ESID 2026.

ESID Diagnostic Workshop, Freiburg, September 2025 – Advancing PID Diagnostics
The 7th edition of the ESID Diagnostic Workshop took place from 15–17 September 2025 at the Schloss Reinach Hotel in Freiburg, Germany.
