ESID Endorsement
The ESID Board, through the Educational Working Party supports educational activities, meetings and workshops that are organized by other institutions and which meet the ESID educational standards of quality.
Upcoming ESID Endorsed activities:
- 2nd ImmunITA National Congress for Physicians and Immunologists (5-6 March, 2026, Rome, Italy): This important medical and scientific conference represents a unique opportunity to delve into the most recent discoveries in basic and clinical immunology, with a particular focus on pathogenesis, diagnostics and therapies of immune system diseases. - 2nd International Symposium of the Serbian Group of Primary Immunodeficiencies (24 – 25 April 2026, Novi Sad and Belgrade, Serbia, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM): The Congress will bring together leading experts and researchers in the fields of PID and autoinflammatory diseases. The main focus of this year’s meeting will be IEI and autoinflammatory diseases. One of the important topics we will address together with patients with IEI is the transition process between pediatric and adult IEI centers. In addition, significant attention will be given to infectious and non-infectious complications associated with IEI, as well as to the importance of genetics in the diagnosis of these disorders. Some recent endorsed by ESID events are:
- Understanding IEI: Linking pathophysiology with evolving therapeutic strategies (22-23 January 2026): A two-day programme featuring leading experts from Europe and the US. The programme provides an opportunity to dive into evolving knowledge of inborn errors of immunity (IEI) including HLH, DADA2, IEI with immune dysregulation, explore latest advances in pathophysiology, lab diagnostics and cutting-edge treatments while engaging in dynamic discussion with peers. - MedPINet Winter School: Recognition and diagnosis of inborn errors of immunity (26-30 January, Naples, Italy): a 5-day intensive program aimed at young physicians and early-career researchers from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries, with the goal of improving the early recognition and diagnosis of Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI). The School is coordinated by Giuliana Giardino and Imen Ben Mustapha, within the broader framework of the SULIEIA and MedPINet initiatives. Programme
- Molecular insights and diagnostic challenges in CVID Workshop (6 February, online and in person, Barcelona, Spain) This workshop will present an exciting afternoon (14:30h-18h) where national and international speakers will guide us to explore cutting-edge technologies and methods in research and clinical diagnosis of CVID. ESID Financial Support
Every year, ESID will designate part of its budget to provide economic help to educational activities organised by other institutions.
