ESID Education Working Party supports two different types of fellowships for its members:
The ESID Fellowships Program offers two exciting opportunities for ESID members to expand their expertise, strengthen collaborations across institutions, and advance care and research in Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs):
ESID Observership Grant
The purpose of the ESID Observership Grant is participants to gain hands-on experience abroad by learning a specific laboratory or clinical skill to implement in your home institution. The duration can be from 2 weeks to 2 months. The financial support provided by ESID is €1200/month (€300/week) + €500 travel grant.
ESID Research Fellowship
The ESID Research Fellowship is specifically for ESID Junior Members. The purpose of the fellowship is for participants to conduct a research project in the field of PIDs at a host institution abroad – an ideal step toward long-term collaboration and career growth. The duration of the fellowship can be from 4 to 6 months. The support provided by ESID is €1200/month + €500 travel grant.
