ESID 2026 Board Elections - Meet the Candidates
We are pleased to present the candidates who have stepped forward to advance ESID’s mission in primary immunodeficiency education, research, and advocacy.
As we approach this crucial election period and membership voting, we invite our members to learn more about the candidates running for the following positions:
- Education Working Party Chair (2026–2028 term)*
- Juniors Working Party Chair (2026–2030 term)
- Genetics Working Party Chair (2026–2030 term)
- PID Care in Development (PIDCD) Working Party Chair (2026–2030 term)
- Registry Working Party Chair (2026–2030 term)
* The Education Working Party Chair position will have an exceptional shorter term (2026–2028) following a vote by the ESID General Assembly to adjust the rotation cycle between this role and the Juniors Working Party Chair position, ensuring both positions do not conclude simultaneously for better continuity.
The newly elected Working Party Chairs will officially begin their terms at the ESID General Assembly, which will take place on 16 October 2026 during the ESID Meeting in Maastricht (14–17 October 2026).
Election Timeline:
- Opening of voting: 15 September 2026
- Closing of voting: 15 October 2026 (12:00 CEST)
- Announcement and installation of new Members: ESID General Assembly, 16 October 2026

Voting will open on 15 September.
All ESID active members will be invited to cast their votes until October 15, 12:00 PM CET .
The credentials to vote will be sent to all ESID members individually via email. If you do not receive the credentials on or after 15 September, please check your junk/SPAM folders and/or contact us at esidadministration@esid.org with the subject ‘ESID – Board Elections’.
