The next session of the ESID Juniors Clinical Cases will take place online on Thursday, 21st December 2023 (16:00 CET/ 15:00 GMT).

  • Topic: "Two tales of inborn errors of immunity presenting as lymphoproliferation.”
  • Presentation 1 : "The path from uncertaining to pathogenicity - Interpretation of two genetic variants for a case of IEI with lymphoproliferation,” by Umair Bargir (Medical Scientist in the Department of Paediatric Immunology at ICMR National Institute of Immunohematology, Mumbai (India)).
  • Presentation 2: "A role for Glycosylation and magnesium in IEI : EBV-driven lymphoproliferative disease," by Arjan Kwakernaak (Internist-clinical immunologist/allergist and nephrologist at Amsterdam University Medical Centre (Netherlands)).
  • Moderator: Hadeil Morsi (Senior Speciality Trainee Registrar in Allergy, Clinical and Laboratory Immunology at Oxford University Hospitals (UK) and the ESID Junior country representative for the UK).

We would like to thank our wonderful speaker, Dr. Laura Batlle Masó (Postdoctoral Researcher at Vall Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR), Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain)) for this session. Her presentation was truly thought provoking!
