During my fellowship at the Human Genetics and Infectious Diseases Laboratory in Paris, I had the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of inborn errors of immunity (IEIs). My journey began with a solid foundation in the theoretical aspects of IEIs, where I learned to interpret VCF files and identify likely mutations in suspected patients. Regular lab meetings and discussions with my colleagues further enriched my understanding of genetic data analysis and interpretation using databases. I gained a deeper understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying IEIs and developed skills in data analysis and interpretation.
