Complimentary Registration for ESID 2026 for LLMICs

ESID members from eligible LLMICs can now apply for complimentary registration to the ESID 2026

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the ESID 2026 Meeting Registration Fee Waiver Programme, designed to support ESID members from Low- and Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LLMICs) according to the current World Bank List in participating in the ESID 2026 Meeting, taking place in Maastricht, the Netherlands, in October 2026.

Through this initiative, ESID will provide a limited number of complimentary meeting registrations to help ensure that financial barriers do not prevent members from benefiting from the scientific programme and networking opportunities offered by the Meeting.

Who can apply?

• Current ESID members, residing in countries classified as Low- or Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LLMICs) according to the World Bank classification.

Applicants may choose to apply for:

• In-person registration, if they are able to arrange and cover their own travel, accommodation, visa and related expenses; or
• Virtual registration, for those who are unable to afford travel to Maastricht. Virtual registration includes access to the congress platform and on-demand recordings for three months after the Meeting.

If you have already registered and paid for the ESID 2026 Meeting, you are still welcome to apply. Should your application be successful, your registration fee will be reimbursed.

As part of the application, candidates will be asked to provide information about their current professional activities, their involvement in the care and/or research of patients with primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs), a short personal statement describing how attending the Meeting will benefit their career and local community, and a short CV.

The application deadline is 7 August 2026.
