ESID-EHA-SIOPE Symposium – “The Interplay of Immunology & Haematology”
18 – 20 November 2025, Vienna, Austria
The intersection between immunodeficiencies, haematologic conditions, and oncology has become ever more apparent. As we witness increasing complexity in patient diagnoses and treatments, the need for a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach is more critical than ever, as each of our specialties offers unique insights that contribute to improving diagnosis, treatment, and management strategies.
The ESID-EHA-SIOPE Focused Symposium 2025 ‘The Interplay of Immunology & Haematology’, held in Vienna in November 2025, gathered, 800 clinical experts, researchers, early careers, and other HCPs to elevate the care and outcomes of their immunodeficiency, haematology and cancer patients. They tackled questions such as:
- When should we screen our primary immunodeficiency, haematology or oncology patients for underlying or additional risks?
- How best should we treat oncology/haematology patients with an underlying primary ID or secondary ID?
- How can we better coordinate with colleagues in other fields to improve care?
