This year’s much-awaited ESID Summer School, headed and organised by Despina Moshous (ESID Education Working Party Chair) with the precious help of Clara Franco (ESID Junior Working Party Chair), was held after a two-year hiatus due to the global pandemic and despite uncertainty with international travel restrictions.

Twenty-eight enthusiastic participants from all over the world came together near Athens this May!

Networking activities included evening dinners and a picnic on the beach.
These opportunities provided an important time for students to connect with other students and Faculty to foster future collaborations. 

Session at IASO Children's Hospital, 6th of May 2022 

This year, the local PID community in Greece, led by Dr. Maria Kanariou, was engaged as part of the exciting programme.
The session was live-streamed to the entire PID community in Greece, and 180 people joined online. The session's recording is available here.
