Dear ESID members,

Despite the social distance that we have been obliged to maintain, Junior members of the society have been very active in the last times -and it is our intention to keep being even more!

We have a very attractive online sessions monthly programme  (click here) for this autumn season, composed by both Journal Clubs and interactive Clinical Cases. For those who cannot attend the sessions, remember that Journal Clubs are recorded and placed later on at our ESID JUNIOR’s YOUTUBE Channel . However,  I encourage you to connect live during the sessions, so you can enjoy the discussion that follow the presentation, rise your questions and interact with your Junior mates.  We are now planning the calendar for the next months, and I would like to invite you to be part of this activity! If you or one of your Junior colleagues have a case that you would like to present, or if you or someone of your knowledge has recently published a paper on PIDs, please send me an email ( ) and we will be happy to include you on the Schedule!

Moreover, there will be more Educational Videos coming up! I hope you enjoy the new one on XLA that we made available very recently on our Youtube Channel. Stay tuned because there will be soon another one about CVID. Remember, that these videos are created by Junior members of ESID, and reviewed by an expert in the field. If you are interested on having a video of a certain topic, or if you would like to be part of the video creating team, please contact our Video Coordinator Nadezdha Camacho ( ). There are many things to be done for the videos, and Nadezh will help you finding out the best one for you

Finally, we are one year ahead for the next ESID Meeting  (12-16 October, 2022 in Gothenburg, Sweden). After such a long time without seeing each other, I am sure this will be an extraordinary meeting. For that reason, from the ESID Juniors Working Party we want to organize many different activities to increase our networking opportunities. All  your ideas are welcome, just share them with me or  with your country representative!

I wish that this course 2021-2022 brings us a lot of opportunities to interact and rise the awareness on PIDs around all our community.

Best wishes

Clara
