The ESID Clinical Working Party would like to introduce ‘ESID Grand Rounds’, a webinar series aimed to promote practical discussion about difficult clinical problems that we all face in managing PID.
Much like hospital grand rounds, seminars will generally take the format of case presentations followed by a panel discussion about diagnosis and management. The goal of the Rounds is to provide practical expert advice that will be of benefit to clinicians caring for patients with PID. Panel members will be invited by the Clinical Working Party and calls will be announced for submission of clinical cases from ESID members for specific topics, via the website and email circulations.
We will run the Rounds for 12 months in the first instance. We would appreciate your feedback so that we can ensure that this is a useful forum for your professional development. If you have suggestions for future topics please contact Prof. Siobhán Burns, ESID CWP chair at siobhan.burns@ucl.ac.uk.
Given the current challenges presented by COVID, we plan to focus the first six rounds on this topic. The provisional program is listed below, FYI.
