ESID Juniors Clinical Cases December session

The next session of the ESID Juniors Clinical Cases will take place online on Thursday, 16th May 2024 (15:00 CET/ 14:00 GMT).

  • Topic: "SPLIS and STAT1LOF
  • Presentation 1 : "SPLIS and STAT1LOF, genetic variants,” by Adriel Roa Bautista (module coordinators and lecturers of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology MSc at Cork University, Ireland).
  • Presentation 2: "Autoimmunity, Lymphadenopathy, STAT1GOF/innate immunity, dilemma of genetics" by  Giuliana Giardino.
  • Moderator: Selket Delafontaine (pediatric resident in the University Hospital Leuven (Belgium) since 2017 and a PhD Student at the Laboratory for IEI at the KU Leuven (Belgium) since 2019 and the ESID Junior country representative for Belgium).

We would like to thank our wonderful speaker, Umair Bargir (Medical Scientist in the Department of Paediatric Immunology at ICMR National Institute of Immunohematology, Mumbai (India)) and Arjan Kwakernaak (Internist-clinical immunologist/allergist and nephrologist at Amsterdam University Medical Centre (Netherlands)).

We also extend a special thanks to our moderator, Hadeil Morsi (Senior Speciality Trainee Registrar in Allergy, Clinical and Laboratory Immunology at Oxford University Hospitals (UK) and the ESID Junior country representative for the UK) for her organisation of this session.
