Dear ESID members

This is a weird newsletter… I would be normally writing about how much we enjoyed the Summer school and explaining the great networking activities we have been planning for Birmingham meeting. However, the current situation makes it slightly different.

During these months the Junior Working Party has been working on the definition and tasks for Country Representatives (these can be read at ESID website here). As you already know, last spring we opened the call for new candidates to represent ESID Juniors in their respective countries. I invite you to read the candidates motivation letters to know them better, and to vote for the one you like the most to represent your country within ESID Juniors community. Voting will be electronically and elections will start the 1st September.

From the ESID Junior's we want to encourage you to register and take part on the First Online ESID meeting. We have carefully designed the scientific programme to make it a very attractive event. This is a great chance for all Juniors, who will be able to attend such a relevant scientific meeting, without struggling to find how to cover accommodation and travel expenses!!

Moreover, the first Online ESID meeting will count with a Junior's Working party session too. We have selected 4 really interesting clinical cases that will be presented online on October 15, 10:30-11:30. This will be a live interactive session with a panel of experts who will help the audience in solving the cases. Don't miss it!!

I hope we can all meet face to face soon, but in the meanwhile, please stay safe and connected with Junior's community via Facebook, ESID website or email.

Best wishes

Clara
